To benefit the Kali Shay Scholarship Fund for Pickens County High School students.
Our friend Kali Shay was a wonderful young woman who was taken too soon. She passed away on December 29th, 2013, just hours after getting married at the Wheeler House in Ball Ground, GA.
To honor her memory, we have created a scholarship fund called The Kali Shay Scholarship Fund, and the proceeds will go to fund a scholarship to an applicant at Pickens County High School each year. In addition, monies are distributed to needy families in the community.
The "Kali Shay Lunch Student Fund" has been established at all Pickens County Schools to be funded yearly from race proceeds.
